    • Shape into 4 equal patties (slightly larger than the buns, as they shrink when cooking).

    • Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat.
    • Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side (medium), or longer if you prefer well-done.
    • Place cheese slices on top in the last minute to melt.
